The Youth band, under the leadership of Gwyn Evans, were triumphant once again at the North Wales Rally in Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Ruthin on Saturday.
Playing Philip Graham's Journal of Phileas Fogg the young musicians won the Youth Section of the competition for the 9th successive year whilst also clinching the Best Hymn prize for their rendition of Nicaea.
An extremely mature performance from the Band led adjudicator, Stan Lippeatt, to proclaim in his summing up that, had the Band entered the 4th Section of the competition, they would have won that too.
With 14 of the members on the stage having only recently stepped up to the Youth Band from the Intermediate Band it was testament once more to the conveyor belt of musical talent within Beaumaris Band's youth sections.
The Band will now start rehearsing for the National Youth Entertainment Championships of Great Britain at Blackpool's Winter Gardens in February.
