Seindorf Beaumaris Band is extremely proud of its junior sections, the pinnacle of which is the Youth Band.

In recent years, the Youth Band have cemented their place as one of Wales' best Youth Bands. In 2023 Seindorf Beaumaris won the Youth Band contest at the National Eisteddfod and thereby ensuring an invitation to represent Wales at the European Brass Band Championships in Palanga Lithuania in 2024.

This will be the second time Seindorf Beaumaris Youth Band have represented Wales at the European Youth Brass Band Championshipis having finished third in the Championship Section in Utrecht, Netherlands in. 2018 where trombonist, Merin Lleu, clinched the Soloist prize. 

 

As well as winning a Gold Innovation Award at the Music For Youth National Festival in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, the Youth Band have enjoyed successes at the National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, the National Youth Entertainment Championships of Great Britain and have performed at the Schools Prom in the Royal Albert Hall and the Brass in Concert at the Sage, Gateshead.

It is a source of immense pride to see musicians graduate through the junior system before taking their seats in the Senior Band.
